Yoga and Tai Chi are both great for a strong, flexible body and a focused, relaxed mind.
Clients who struggle with stress and health issues asked me what I would recommend. Having practiced Yoga for a long time, I have a daily yoga practice in the morning that keeps me strong, fit and relaxed. Yoga is popular, you find a yoga studio in any town. Once you know it, you can have your 30-60 minute morning routine provided you are disciplined enough.
Having learned Tai Chi lately, I see a clear benefit in the Tai Chi practice: You can practice 5 or 10 minutes anywhere, anytime, you need no mat or special clothing, it is very relaxing and brings you into here and now immediately. It does take some time to learn. Also, it is great to keep joints healthy and/or recover from injury.
